Project experience

Software projects across different technical contexts.

From geographic registration systems and time management to supplier portals and integrations. This selection shows applications worked on over the years and makes the technical contribution and project context clear.

The application, the context and the technical contribution.

Truecoded builds on an established business history and broad professional software experience. The projects below do not all have the same contractual context, so the role and relationship are stated clearly for each one.

  1. Digitaal Vlaanderen · LARA

Geographic registration with map editing and workflow processing.
  2. Attentia · DOTS / Connected Time

Time management, web applications and an API for external applications.
  3. Yamagata Europe · Suppliers' Net

A supplier portal that continued to evolve across different phases.

Digitaal Vlaanderen · LARA

Geographic registration with map editing and workflow processing.

LARA supports local authorities in registering and managing geographic data. The application combines map interaction, multiple input steps and backend processing within one coherent user flow.

Role

  • Full-stack development

The technical challenge

Actions such as drawing a building, adjusting a parcel or changing an address consist of several dependent steps. A user works visually on a map and adds data across different screens. Behind the interface, that information then needs to be processed in the correct order.

The contribution

The contribution covered both frontend and backend architecture as well as implementation. On the frontend, separate widgets and screens combine into a single operation. On the backend, processing runs as a workflow. The interface exposes progress so users can see which steps have completed and which processing is still running.

Attentia · DOTS / Connected Time

Time management, web applications and an API for external applications.

Connected Time is part of Attentia’s DOTS platform and supports processes around time registration, attendance, absence and self-service.

Role
  • Full-stack development
  • REST API
  • Angular UI components

The application

Employees and managers work with calendars, time data, counters and approval processes. The same functional information therefore appears in the user interface, in Attentia processes and through integrations with other applications.

The contribution

The technical contribution included development of web applications within Connected Time and a REST API that exposed functionality to external applications. Reusable Angular components were also developed as part of the platform UI kit.

Yamagata Europe · Suppliers' Net

A supplier portal that continued to evolve across different phases.

Suppliers' Net supports collaboration between Yamagata Europe and its suppliers. The portal brings together day-to-day tasks including supplier profiles, availability, assignments and file exchange.

Role
  • Software development
  • Maintenance
  • Further development
Relationship
  1. Initially developed at Orbit One as an employee
  2. Later continued directly as a freelancer for Yamagata Europe

The application

Suppliers can manage their details, indicate availability and follow assignments through the portal. Files can be supplied and processed as part of assignments, making the portal a link between suppliers and Yamagata’s internal processes.

The contribution

The technical involvement started during the development of Suppliers' Net at Orbit One and was later continued directly for Yamagata Europe. Work included sign-in, supplier profiles, availability, assignments and file upload. The long-term involvement made it possible to maintain and extend the application as needs changed.

Further experience with business software and integrations.

Not every relevant project needs a full case study or has enough visual material for one. These projects add further context to the technical experience behind Truecoded.

Business history

Truecoded builds on earlier software projects.

Truecoded is the current name of the business that previously operated as Frozen Graphics. Before the current positioning, the business already delivered websites, web applications and technical solutions for clients. Those projects are part of the same business history, even if they do not always reflect the type of software Truecoded focuses on today.
