Who processes your data
Truecoded CommV, company number 0667.644.466, processes your data as the controller.
If you have a question about what happens to your data, you can ask it through the contact form or email us directly at .
What data, why and for how long
- Your name, email address and your question
- To be able to answer your question. Your organisation is optional and only helps to place the context. Your message is forwarded to Truecoded as email and is not kept in a database; it stays in the mailbox until that email is deleted.
- Your IP address when you send the form
- To limit how often the form can be submitted in a row. For that, the server keeps your IP address in its working memory for as long as that limit runs. It is not stored, not written to the website's logs and not linked to your message. For the check against automated submissions it also goes to Cloudflare, as described below.
- Your theme preference
- Is only stored once you pick light or dark yourself, stays in your own browser and never reaches our servers.
- Your language preference
- Is only stored once you pick a language yourself, in a cookie in your own browser, for one year. Your browser sends that cookie to our server, which uses it only to open the homepage in that language; the server does not keep it or write it to its logs. Without that choice, the homepage opens in the language your browser asks for.
How your message reaches us
Your message is delivered through Brevo, a European transactional email service. Brevo processes your name, email address and message solely to deliver that one email, in data centres within the European Union, and uses them for nothing else.
Protecting the form
The contact form uses a check that stops automated submissions. For that, your browser contacts Cloudflare, which receives your IP address and some browser characteristics. When you send the form, our server has Cloudflare confirm that check and passes your IP address along; your name, email address and message do not go to Cloudflare. This happens on the contact page only and nowhere else on this website.
What we do not do
- No analytics, advertising networks or tracking cookies.
- No profiles based on your browsing behaviour.
- No resale or transfer to third parties for commercial purposes.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of the data we hold about you, and you can object to it being processed. If you disagree with how we handle it, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
